Bookings/Reservations
All bookings are confirmed in writing via Email or Post. If you have not received one of these, you may not have a valid room booking. No provisional bookings will be held.
Please check the details on the confirmation prior to arrival to avoid any confusion with dates or room details.
We require payment in full at time of booking.
To prevent any potential loss due to cancellations we do stress the importance of taking out travel insurance to protect you against unforeseeable situations that can arise.
Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay. Should you choose to depart early the room price will be subject to change, or a cancellation charge incurred.
We do not accept pets, unless for the purpose of “Seeing” or “Hearing”, which must be certified and registered as Guide Dogs.
Any animals left in cars will be reported to the police and the RSPCA.

Damage
In the unlikely event of any damage being done to the cottages or property, unresolved, we reserve the right to charge the person/organisation responsible for the booking.

Arrival and departure
Cottages are guaranteed from 4pm on the day of arrival. Cottages must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Late check-out until 2pm is possible, depending on availability, for an additional charge of £100 per cottage.

Lost Property
All lost and found items are held on site for three months, thereafter handed to Charities or disposed of.
We will post your items to you, however there will be a minimum £10 handling charge depending on item size. Items will not be posted until this charge is received.

Smoking
We are a Non-Smoking property and operate a strict Non-Smoking Policy. We are responsible for upholding Non-Smoking Laws and are liable for a fine if anyone is found to be or has been smoking in any of our cottages.
Should we find evidence or believe that guests have been smoking in the cottages (this includes the smell of cigarettes in the rooms or cigarette butts found) we reserve the right to add £150 to the bill for the expense of dry cleaning of curtains, bedding and carpet cleaning etc. If the guests are part way through a stay they will be asked to leave the premises with no refund being given.

Parking
We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage of property or vehicles left in our car park.

Internet
We provide a free wireless internet service to all guests. We do not accept responsibility for charges incurred during the usage of this service when logging on to a different service provider. We do recommend that you check your connection to our network and NOT your default provider. Nor do we accept responsibility for any software or spyware downloaded during you stay.

Complaints or comments
We take our guest satisfaction very seriously. Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at any of our cottages should be made in the first instance to Amey or David Cull at the time of your stay so that we can resolve it immediately.

Disclaimer
Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained online, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement or cancel any of the information or offers featured online at any time. Furzeleigh House Ltd does not accept direct, indirect or consequential liability for loss or damage to your property. We do NOT pass any details provided or share details of our guests to other/third parties.

Advanced Cancellation
Cancellations are to be made by phoning or by emailing contact@furzeleighhouse.co.uk directly. You will receive a cancellation confirmation via e-mail. If you have not received a written cancellation confirmation, your reservation is still standing and you will be liable to the applicable charges.
Standard cancellation policy is by 2pm, 7 Days prior to arrival. In the event of late cancellation we require payment of 75% of the full stay of your accommodation that you have reserved, however we do strive to re-let the cottages. If we re-let all or part re-let the cottages we will refund the difference and notify you via e-mail.

Cancellation following Non-Arrival
In the event of a Non-Arrival you will be charged for the full duration of your accommodation that you have reserved. If you have not checked in or contacted Furzeleigh House by phone to reconfirm that you still intend to arrive before 8am the morning after your confirmed arrival date, we will assume your reservation is cancelled and the cottages may be re-let.
